6/23 - Kelley's Island Brewery
We played the Islands!! Doug and Patty (the owners) were very gracious.

Our view was spectacular. We got to see the lake and all the boats while we were singing. However, the background for any pictures of us was not so great. Oh well. We did take a couple of shots with the lake and the sunset as a background when we were finished just to prove we were actually on the island.

Our first request of the evening was "don't fear the reaper". Well, we did fear. We were very, very afraid. No, we didn't sing it.

The cutest little boys EVER were there dancing away. I swear the older one was doing his version of river dance. It was so cute and way too hysterical. I completely lost all concentration during "stop in the name of love" that all I could do was laugh uncontrollably for an entire verse.
Terry snapped some pictures of them and I think he was laughing so hard that the pictures will probably come out blurry. He was talking with the boys' father and learned that they're from England and that they were at Kelley's on vacation.

Oh yeah, I surprised everyone (even my own self) with Joni Mitchell's version of "big yellow taxi" at the end where she sings high and then low. Usually, I just do the low bit and skip the really high part. Mud said it was a song that only dogs could hear. I have no idea if it was on key or not, but it was fun to do. Then a guy threw some money into the tip jar and I asked him if that was for me to keep singing or to stop.

After we finished up at The Brewery, we went to Bag The Moon and listened to the band who was playing there. C-Man was crackin' me up somethin' fearce when he stopped this
picture perfect young blond and started talking to her like they knew each other. We could tell that she was really doing the math in her head to figure out where they knew each other from and just how well they knew each other. He's got some big ones, I'll give him that.

Then, he ended up dancing and chatting it up with yet another blond. I think he tuckered himself out and slept all the way home.

A good time was had by all and we can't wait to go back!
